Today we will look at the Academy Awards.

Questions:

1. Why do movie companies want to win an Oscar? (from a business perspective)

2. What are some of the economic 'spin offs' of the Adademy Awards?  (who else can advertise and promote, who else benefits)

3.  Go on-line and read some of the news and look to see if there are any new movie trailers that have been release as a result of the Oscars.  Comment on what you found.
